Rules of Admission
1. Application for admission should be made in the prescribed form which can be had from the college office on payment of a registration fee of Rs. 30/-. Request for sending the application form by post will be entertained only on receipt of a money order for Rs. 35/- . In the M. O. coupon, the class (B.A. / B. Sc./ B. Com. / M. A. English / M.Sc. Physics) to which admission is sought should be noted along with the full address of the candidate. Postal Orders will not be accepted. Registration of an application does not guarantee selection for admission and the fee will not be refunded under any circumstance.
2. The application duly filled in, should be sent to the Principal as soon as the marks are obtained. In all subsequent enquiries the Registration Number should be quoted.
3. If the application is favourably considered, an intimation card assigning a date for interview with the Principal will be sent to the applicant. All selections are provisional and will be only be confirmed after personal interview with the Principal and final scrutiny of certificates.
4. At the interview with the Principal and the selection committee, the applicant should produce, besides the intimation card, the following certificates.
  For B. A./ B. Sc./B. Com. Course:
 
  • Transfer Certificate from the college last attended.
  • Course and Conduct Certificates.
  • Higher Secondary (or equivalent) mark list.
  • Pass Certificate and migration Certificate for those who passed the qualifying examination of Universities boars other than calicut.
  • Eligibility Certificate for those who passed the qualifying examination from outside the state of Kerala.
  For M. A. / M. Sc. Course:
   
  • Transfer Certificate from the College last attended.
  • Course and Conduct Certificates.
  • Degree or (Equivalent ) Mark list.
  • Degree Certificate
 
5. If, after the interview, admission is sanctioned, the applicant may get herself enrolled forthwith on payment of the first installment of fees together with the special and other fees.
6. Original Certificates submitted at the time of admission will not be returned to the students during their courses of study. Students are therefore directed to keep certified true copies of the same before submitting the originals for admission.
 
  • Students belonging to S. C., S .T. & O. E. C. according to the entries in their S.S.L.C. Book are exempted from the payment of fees. O.B.C. Students and Forward Community Students are also exempted from fees provided their annual income does not exceed Rs. 25,000/- in the case of Degree and Rs. 36,000/- in the case of P.G. Students. S.C., S. T. , O. E. C. and F. C. students have, however, to produce the Income. Community and Nativity certificates at the time of admission.
  • They shall submit the required certificates and fill in the necessary application forms for fee concession, within the specified period, for onward transmission to the Harijan Welfare Department.
  • Granting of fee concession and other financial aid will be fully in accordance with the Government orders issued fro time to time and communicated by the Harijan Welfare Department.
  • S. C./ S. T., O. E. C. & O. B. C. Students leaving the College after admission during the first term, should pay the fees prescribed for the term, since the reimbursement of fees is not likely to be sanctioned by the Hairpin Welfare Department.
  • Applications for these concessions in the prescribed form must be submitted within one month from the date of admission. If this is not done, fees will have to be paid.
  • Applicants who do not produce the necessary certificates at the time of admission will not be admitted unless they pay the prescribed fee.
