Alumnae

The Alumnae Association ‘Providonna.’

• The Alumnae Association, had begun functioning in the 1950’s.
• It was revived during the Golden Jubilee Year.
• The outgoing final year students become members of the Association.
• This 2 year membership can then be extended as a 5 year membership, Life membership or Patron membership.
• The Association meets on the 15th of August every year.
• The executive committee, consists of 10 elected members.
• The General Body meets regularly to plan and implement various programme and activities meant to strengthen the link between the alumnae and their alma mater.

Activities of Providonna 2006- 07

• The Alumnae Meet was held on 15, August, 2006 and the following office bearers were elected.

  Treasurer	: Ms. Shiji, Department of Business Management
  Members	: Ms. Susheela Paleri, Ms. Mary Cherian
  	Ms. Dimple, Ms. Bhama

• Providonna donated two DVD players to the college.
• Under the auspices of Providonna, a Medical Camp was organized for the people in the adopted village with the help of NSS volunteers.
• 13 scholarships were instituted by the alumnae for deserving students.
• In collaboration with the charity institution HOPE, the alumnae associtaion distributed twenty wheel chairs to the needy.
