Providence Womens’ College is seen by the Apostolic Carmel Educational Trust. The College has served the humanity for more than five decades. The Mangaing Gerning Body consists of the Manager, Sr. Snehalatha, the local manager Sr. Theodolinda, the Principal, Sr. (Dr.) Ancilla, the Educational Secretary Sr. Rosalina and two members of the teaching faculty.
The Managing Governing Body meets every three months to evaluate the academic and non-academic events on the campus. The body prepares the human resource and financial resource banks of the Institution. The yearly preparation of the budget and formulations of policies regarding administrative aspects of the college help in the daily functioning of the college.

Constitution:
The Principal, Vice Principal, Heads of the Departments and such other staff members as might be nominated by the Principal.

Role:
Advisory Body for consultation on the internal academic affairs of the college.

Constitution:
The Principal, Head of the Department of all departments, the Vice Principal and a few members constitute the Council.

Role:
The Council was formed in 2005 so as to help the evaluation study of each department. The Academic Council meets bimonthly. The points discussed are communicated to each department. The Council aims at Total Quality Management.

• The PTA plays an active role in the academic, administrative and extra curricular activities of the college.
• The PTA members render help during the admissions.
• The PTA has instituted three scholarships to the deserving students.
• The completion of the library block, installation of Asianet broad band internet facility, computerisation of the library, office automation etc, could be achieved with the support of the PTA.
• The department wise PTA meetings help much to develop a rapport between the parents and the teachers

The activities of each academic year are managed by the College Union which consists of following office bearers and elected members viz., The President of the Union : Principal of the College (Ex-officio), The Staff Advisor and Fine Arts President (Nominated by the Principal), The Secretary of each of the various Associations and one representative each of IDC, IIDC, IIDC, IPG and IIPG.
